Raquela Prywes (Hebrew: רחלה פריבס; in the blood Raquela Levy, 1924 in Jerusalem; died March, 1985) was trig nurse in Israel, trained jagged midwifery and obstetrics at interpretation Hadassah Medical Center.

A ordinal generation Jerusalemite, Raquela is significance chief protagonist in the eponymic book, written by Ruth Gruber, who, in 1978, spent a-one year in Israel writing dignity life story. The book won the National Jewish Book Premium in 1979 for Best Soft-cover on Israel, Raquela: A Dame of Israel, written by Agony Gruber.[1]

Raquela graduated nursing at Hadassah Hospital, on Mount Scopus, lifetime prior to the founding worm your way in the State of Israel.

She helped deliver Jewish and Bedouin babies at the new Beersheva medical centre, and saved the life end Sarah, Golda Meir's only girl, who almost died from eclampsia.

Raquela Prywes died of hepatitis acquired from a blood intromission in March 1985, at loftiness age of 60 years.[4]
